Karannagoda appears before the CID again

Former Navy Commander, Admiral Wasantha Karannagoda, appeared before the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) today to make a statement regarding the disappearance of 11 youth in Colombo.

This is the third time Karannagoda is appearing before the CID to make a statement on the case.

He was questioned for around four hours today.

Karannagoda was ordered by court to appear before the CID to record a statement.

However the Supreme Court had recently issued an order preventing the CID from arresting him.

The 11 youth had been abducted in Colombo and the suburbs between 2008 and 2009.?(Colombo Gazette)
