Police probe Colpetty explosion

The Police are investigating an explosion in Colpetty early this morning in which a Chinese couple and two others sustained injuries.

According to the Police, the explosion took place inside a shop causing damage to at least 11 shops.

The Chinese couple and two others were admitted to hospital with minor injuries and one person is still receiving treatment while the rest have been discharged.

The cause of the explosion is still not known. (Colombo Gazette)
