More persons infected and suspected to be infected with COVID-19 were identified within the Colombo district yesterday. Number of coronavirus patients detected in Sri Lanka continues to rise

The number of coronavirus patients detected in Sri Lanka continued to rise late this evening. The Ministry of Health said that 588 patients had been detected with the virus as of late this evening (Monday). Of the 588 patients there are 455 coronavirus active patients in Sri Lanka so far while 126 have recovered and have been discharged from hospital. Sri Lanka has so far recorded seven deaths from the virus. (Colombo Gazette)
