Villagers in Kilinochchi kill leopard after it attacks 10 people

Villagers in Kilinochchi captured and killed a leopard after it attacked 10 people in the area. The villagers hunted down the animal after accusing wildlife officers of failing to do their duty. Wildlife officers had arrived at Ambalkulam in Kilinochchi to capture the animal but they had failed to locate it resulting in agitated residents deciding to look for the animal themselves. Sri Lanka assures will address issue of bottom trawling
