New Maldives Ambassador to Sri Lanka presents his credentials

The New Maldives Ambassador to Sri Lanka Omar Abdul Razzak, presented his credentials to President Maithripala Sirisena today.

Razzak completed Masters of Business Administration (International) from Edith Cowen University of Australia.

Previous work experience of Omar Abdul Razzak includes the post of Minister of States for Home Affairs, Project Monitoring at the Ministry of Finance and Treasury where he was responsible for monitoring the development of all projects in the country funded through external sources and as the Shadow Foreign Secretary of Maldives United Opposition.

He is currently also a member of the Joint Opposition Foreign Relations Committee.

In all twelve new foreign Ambassadors and High Commissioners accredited to Sri Lanka presented their credentials to President Maithripala Sirisena at the President?s House in Colombo today. (Colombo Gazette)
