Power restored in most areas

The electricity supply was restored in most parts of the country today, several hours after a technical failure plunged the entire nation into darkness. The power supply was disrupted to the entire island around 12.30 p.m. and attempts to restore the supply took several hours. Former President Maithripala Sirisena to be questioned on Easter attacks

Former President Maithripala Sirisena has been informed to appear before the Police Unit of the Presidential Commission of Inquiry appointed to probe the Easter Sunday attacks.
