Municipal Council member Mahinda Kahandagama arrested

Colombo Municipal Council member Mahinda Kahandagama was arrested today over the 9th May attacks on peaceful protesters at Galle Face and near Temple Trees. Kahandagama surrendered to the Criminal Investigations Department today after being named as a suspect over the incident. He was arrested after he surrendered and was questioned by the CID.
