Third coronavirus death reported in Sri Lanka

The third coronavirus death has been reported in Sri Lanka, that of a 73 year-old patient. The patient is said to be a resident of Maradana. The patient had initially been admitted to the Sri Jayewardenepura General Hospital where it was determined that he had contracted the virus. Two more individuals in Sri Lanka confirmed with coronavirus

Two more individuals have been identified to have contracted the coronavirus in Sri Lanka.The Ministry of Health said the total number of patients infected with COVID-19 stands at 148.The Ministry further said 124 individuals, among the confirmed patients, have been identified as active cases.A total of 231 persons are admitted to various hospitals on suspicion of having contracted the virus.The Ministry of Health added that 21 patients, including 20 Sri Lankans and one Chinese woman, have recov

Number of coronavirus patients increases

The number of patients infected with COVID-19 in Sri Lanka rose to 146 as of 5.00 p.m. today. The Ministry of Health said three more patients were detected with the virus from Maradana, Jaffna and Kurunegala.
