Seven more coronavirus related deaths reported in Sri Lanka

Seven more coronavirus related deaths have been reported in Sri Lanka. The Government said that the death toll in Sri Lanka from the pandemic has now risen to 615. Inoculation of Covid vaccine second dose postponed

Another 45 returnees found to be infected

Another 45 Sri Lankans who returned to the country have been found to be infected with the coronavirus. Officials have recorded a spike in the number of returnees infected with the virus this year. The National Operations Centre for the Prevention of COVID-19 said that the 45 Sri Lankans were among 212 people found to be infected with the virus in Sri Lanka.
