Some key UNF MPs decide not to push for posts

Some leading?United National Front (UNF) Parliamentarians have decided not to accept cabinet posts.

UNF Parliamentarian Mano Ganesan said that the decision was taken following a request made by Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe to limit the new cabinet to 30 members.

Mano Ganesan said that he and MP Rishad Bathiudeen have decided not to accept portfolios.

It was also reported that senior United National Party Parliamentarian Malik Samarawickrema will also not accept a portfolio. (Colombo Gazette)
