The United People’s Freedom Alliance (UPFA) says it will decide its next move after meeting with the alliance members.
UPFA Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa said that the Supreme Court ruling on the dissolution of Parliament went against public expectations.
He said that the public wanted an early Parliamentary election but the court had ruled otherwise.
Namal Rajapaksa said that while his party respects the court it cannot accept the judgement.
Rajapaksa said that the UPFA will meet under the leadership of President Maithripala Sirisena and Mahinda Rajapaksa and decide the next step. (Colombo Gazette)
