A Nigerian national has been arrested on charges of staying in Sri Lanka without a valid visa. The Police said the suspect was arrested for violating visa conditions. He was arrested by the Mount Lavinia Police from the Badowita area in Mount Lavinia last evening. Police warn motorists violating lane laws

Special operations to monitor the implementation of lane laws in Colombo and its suburbs, are continuing, the Police said. A woman who tested positive for Covid has died after being cleared and discharged from the treatment facility.
