Oktoberfest 2018 at the Hilton Colombo

The Biggest Bavarian German Food and Beer Festival was held at the Sports Center Arena of the Hilton Colombo. The German music provided by a Bavarian Band, Beer drinking Competition and the atmosphere was all like the Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany.

The annual Dinner Dance ?Tea Trade Ball? organized by the Colombo Tea Traders Association was held at the Grand Ballroom, Hilton Colombo. This was the 35th?year Dinner Dance and it was also to celebrate the 150th?year of the Tea Trade in Sri Lanka. ?Misty? and ?Doctor? provided the music for dancing and Mohamed Adamally compered and kept the Dance going till Dawn. Wendy Whatmore Prize Giving

The Wendy Whatmore Academy of Speech & Drama held their 76th?Annual Prize Giving for Winners of 2016 in 2 Sessions at the Bishop?s College Auditirium, Colombo 3. Renu Samarasinghe was the Chief Guest for the first session with Judy Daniels and Shamila Hassan as Guests of Honour.
