Parliamentarian Hirunika Premachandra says what happens at former Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe’s home should not be of concern to anyone else.
Speaking to reporters today, Premachandra condemned the comments made by President Maithripala Sirisena accusing Wickremesinghe of going behind butterflies.
She asked if the President went to Wickremesinghe’s house and held a light in his room and looked for proof to back the claims made against the former Prime Minister.
Premachandra said that she has proof to make allegations against others but she will not do so.
“Someone’s personal life is irrelevant to us. That will not solve our issues,” she said.
She said that what needs to be looked at is National issues and nothing to do with someone’s personal life. (Colombo Gazette)
