Fowzie appointed State Minister of National unity and Muslim affairs

United Peoples Freedom Alliance Parliamentarian A.H.M. Fowzie took oaths today as the State Minister Of National Unity, Co-existence and Muslim Religious Affairs.

He took oaths before the President at the Presidential Secretariat.

Long queues at toilets at BIA as some were shut

Long queues were seen at toilets at the Banadaranaike International Airport (BIA) today as some had been shut for maintenance and renovation. Sources at the airport said that passengers were heavily inconvenienced with the closure of some toilets. Women and well as the elderly were among those waiting in the?queue to use the toilet.
