Dinesh Gunawardena to be new Leader of the House

Political parties in the Government of President Maithripala Sirisena and Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa have decided to appoint Parliamentarian Dinesh Gunawardena as the new Leader of the House.

Government spokesman Keheliya Rambukwella said that the decision to appoint?Gunawardena was taken at a meeting held between political parties represented in the Government at the Prime Minister’s office today.

United National Party Parliamentarian Lakshman Kiriella was earlier the Leader of the House. (Colombo Gazette)
