The United National Party (UNP) says it does not see a Chinese hand in the political crisis in the country.
UNP Parliamentarian Sarath Fonseka said that both the current and former Governments have had a close relationship with China.
He said that the unity Government had worked with China on several projects. He said the unity Government also had economic agreements with the Chinese.
However he said that some politicians may have had personal relationships with some diplomats. (Colombo Gazette)
