Journalists allegedly threatened by Parliament employee

At least two journalists have allegedly been threatened by a Parliament employee, Speaker Karu Jayasuriya was informed today. The journalists had allegedly been threatened for reporting in an incident where the Parliament employee had used the chair of the Speaker. Sri Lanka yet to identify location for nuclear power plant

Sri Lanka is yet to identify a suitable location to set up a nuclear power plant, the Power and Energy Ministry said today. Deputy Minister of Power and Energy Ajith P. Compensation assured to families of Jaffna shooting victims

The Government has assured compensation to the families of the victims of the recent Jaffna shooting incident. Minister of Prison Reforms, Rehabilitation, Resettlement and Hindu Religious Affairs D.M.
