Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan, known internationally for roles in Slumdog Millionaire, Life of Pi and Jurassic World, has died at the age of 53. Khan died in a hospital in the western city of Mumbai, his agency said. Actor Alexander Fernando passes away

Veteran film actor Alexander Fernando passed away at the age of 80 today. The Sri Lanka National Film Corporation said the actor had passed away while receiving treatment at the Colombo National Hospital. The funeral arrangements are yet to be announced, it added. Considered as one of the best villains in Sinhala cinema, Fernando has acted in over 120 Sinhala films, six Tamil films and one English film. (Colombo Gazette)
