Inside Olivia and Alex Bowen’s stunning Sri Lanka honeymoon

Last weekend Olivia Buckland and Alex Bowen became the first Love Island couple to tie the knot in a no expense spared ceremony.

And the newlywed’s honeymoon has proved every bit as extravagant.

After saying ‘I do’ at Gosfield Hall in Essex, the Bowens jetted off to sunny Sri Lanka to enjoy their first few weeks as man and wife.

But naturally, the social media loving pair have given fans at candid glimpse of all that they’ve been to with a string of snaps and video from their luxurious break.

As the pair settled in their epic trip, Olivia wasted no time in stripping off into her swimwear for some sizzling poolside shots.

The new Mrs Bowen staged an impromptu modelling shoot as she got down on the floor to show off her enviable curves in a very skimpy thong bikini.

She then continued to indulge by taking a dip in the couple’s private hot tub while supping a glass of wine.

But the pair haven’t spent all their time chilling out in their fancy villa, the couple have also been out sight-seeing and sampling all that Sri Lanka has to offer.

In just a few days Olivia and Alex have been pictured riding the railways, hitting a botanical garden and trying their hand at picking tea.

And Olivia was clearly in a loved-up mood as she shared a stunning shot of her at dinner, telling fans she was ‘blissfully and peacefully happy.’

“I struggled with inner peace for a long time and whilst many reasons I’m happy are because of self acceptance, many are that of my husband.

“It was an uphill climb of mine, to be honestly happy and he pushed me up. That’s the reason I’m proud of myself & of him,” she gushed.

Last weekend the reality stars got married in front of 98 day guests with Alex making a big entrance to the wedding – by helicopter.

Later the newlyweds were joined by 150 extra guests at the reception.

And there were plenty of famous faces in the crowd from Love Island’s Gabby Allen and Kady McDermott to TOWIE’S Pete Wicks.

The pair shared details of their happy day in this week’s OK! magazine , out now. (Mirror UK)
