Interim injunction issued against summoning Gota in Lalith, Kugan case

An interim injunction has been issued against summoning former Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa over the disappearance of human rights and political activists Lalith Kumar Weeraraj and Kugan Muruganandan. The interim injunction was issued to the Jaffna Magistrate?s Court by the Court of Appeal. Dayasiri says former Army Chief likely to contest

CAA approves increase of imported milk powder price

The Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA) has approved the increase of the price of imported milk powder. Accordingly, the CAA said that the price of a 1 kilogram pack of imported milk powder has been increased by Rs 50.00 while the price of a 400g packet was increased by Rs 20.00.
