CID files case against Ravi accusing him of giving false information

The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) has filed a case against former Minister Ravi Karunanayake, accusing him of giving false information to the Presidential Commission of Inquiry which investigated the treasury bond scam.

Karunanayake had been questioned by the?Presidential Commission over the scam which took place when he was the Finance Minister.

The CID has filed a case at the?Colombo Magistrate?s Court accusing?Karunanayake of giving false information when he was questioned by the commission. (Colombo Gazette)
