Young woman, two children killed as tree falls on temporary shelter

A young woman and two children were killed when a tree fell on a temporary shelter in Welimada. The Police said that the tree fell on the temporary shelter near the Welimada Pradeshiya Sabha. The Government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the first cable car project in Sri Lanka to be built in Nuwara Eliya, the Ministry of Plantation Industries said today.
