Cost of expensive cancer drugs and other drugs slashed

The Government has decided to reduce the price of?10 expensive cancer drugs and 13 other medicinal drugs with effect from midnight tonight.

Health Minister Dr. Rajitha Senaratne said that the gazette notice in this regard has been issued.

He said that that the MRP of blood glucose meters and blood glucose test strips have also been reduced.
