Indian External Affairs Minister Dr Subrahmanyam Jaishankar arrived in Sri Lanka a short while ago. The Indian External Affairs Minister is expected to meet President Gotabaya Rajapaksa. Yesterday, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended an invitation to President Rajapaksa to visit India as his first official foreign tour. President Rajapaksa accepted the invitation.

Pujith and Hemasiri further remanded

Inspector General of Police Pujith Jayasundara and former Defence Secretary Hemasiri Fernando were today ordered to be remanded over the Easter Sunday attacks. The Colombo Additional Magistrate ordered that Jayasundara and Fernando be remanded till 3rd December.
