Deputy Minister of Foreign Employment, Manusha Nanayakkara said that 163 cases have been filed during the first seven months of this year and tough action will be taken against those accused.
The Deputy Minister said that if any officials have been found to be involved in foreign employment rackets, they will also be dealt with firmly.
He said that most cases filed this year have been against a foreign employment recruitment agency which promised employment in the Seychelles.
The Deputy Minister said that of the 163 cases filed this year, 135 are against the same agency. (Colombo Gazette)
