Highest number of PCR testing carried out

The Ministry of Health says the highest number of PCR or COVID-19 testing for a day was conducted yesterday. Director General of Health Services Dr. Anil Jasinghe said 1400 PCR tests were conducted islandwide. More coronavirus patients detected

Four more persons infected with COVID-19 were detected in Sri Lanka today. The Ministry of Health said the latest detections raise the number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Sri Lanka to 592.
