Abdul Razik claims TID was alerted about Zahran in 2016

The General Secretary of Ceylon Thowheed Jama?ath (CTJ) Abdul Razik today claimed that Terrorism Investigations Division (TID) was alerted in 2016 about some of the propaganda activities of Zahran Hashim. He told the Parliament Select Committee (PSC) on the Easter Sunday attacks that Zahran Hashim had been promoting jihad using Facebook. Three-wheel driver shot at for failing to stop

A three-wheel driver was shot at by the Police for failing to stop at a checkpoint in Gampaha today. The Police said the three-wheeler had been ordered to stop at the checkpoint in Gampaha but the vehicle had ignored the orders. The Police then opened fire injuring the driver on his shoulder. The driver was admitted to hospital for treatment.

US downgrades Sri Lanka’s status in human trafficking report
