Arjun Aloysius and Kasun Palisena file revised bail applications

Perpetual Treasuries head?Arjun Aloysius and Chief Executive Officer Kasun Palisena have filed revised bail applications before the Court of Appeal. The Colombo High Court had earlier this month rejected a bail application?submitted by Arjun Aloysius and Kasun Palisena. Ranjan Ramanayake comes under fire in Parliament

Deputy Minister Ranjan Ramanayake came under fire in Parliament today for making statements critical of the court and some judges. The joint opposition told Parliament that?Ramanayake was attempting to create a rift between the legislator and the court. Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa said that while a Parliamentarian has some privileges he should not abuse those privileges. Sirisena to visit Pakistan to attend Pakistan National Day
