Sri Lankan hip hop singer/producer Iraj has just released the video?for the single titled ?just one click? which features international star?Tony.T (formerly of R.I.O). Akuressa PS chairman arrested

The chairman of the Akuressa Pradeshiya Sabha, Liyanage Sunil, was arrested this morning over allegations of committing rape. Sunil had allegedly raped a 14 year old girl sometime in May at a location in the Akuressa town, the police media unit said. The 48 year old Pradeshiya Sabha chairman was arrested early this morning by the Matara unit of the Child and women?s police bureau. He is to be produced before the Matara court today.

Jayalalithaa wants fishermen freed

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa on Wednesday urged Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to take up the issue of Indian fishermen arrested by the Sri Lankan Navy and secure their immediate release.
