Three killed in Udawalawa

Three people wee killed in an accident involving a three-wheeler and lorry in the Udawalawa area this morning, the police media unit said. The police said that the lorry was heading to Ratnapura from Embilipitiya when the accident took place. The lorry?crashed?into the three-wheeler which was heading towards Embilipitiya from Ratnapura. Both vehicles?crashed?head-on killing the three people in the three-wheeler. The driver of the lorry has been arrested.

Lanka not on CMAG agenda

The Commonwealth Secretariat says Sri Lanka will not be on the agenda of the Commonwealth Ministerial Action Group (CMAG) meeting next month.
