Protesters take over Prime Minister?s Office

Protesters took over the Prime Minister?s Office at Flower Road, Colombo today. Hundreds surrounded the building and clashed with the Police and military. The Police fired several rounds of tear gas and water cannons on the protesters. After a brief standoff the protesters breached the walls and entered the Prime Minister?s Office. The Sri Lanka flag was raised on the top of the building by the protesters. Several people were injured in the clash. (Colombo Gazette)
