Volkswagen Day Parade at Mount Lavinia Hotel

The ?Beetles? were back at Mount Lavinia Hotel in all colors, shapes and sizes. Custom-built, each Volkswagen told a unique story of its own as the rally roared with the sound of the German engine classics.

Held annually, the bubbly convoy of proud Volkswagen ?Beatle? owners made their way from down Galle Road to the courtyard of the Mount Lavinia Hotel on Sunday the 01?st July?18.

Organised by the Sri Lankan Volkswagen Beetle owners’ club the parade exhibited some of the oldest models produced.

The timeless Volkswagen classics adorned with spoilers, convertible roofs and distinctive paint jobs won much admiration and recognition as guests and other visitors to the hotel hovered around to snap pictures and take a peeks inside. Club members were then hosted at the Regency Room for the Club meeting.
