No immediate cut on automobile import tariff: Sri Lanka

Six killed in Rathota following heavy rain

Six people were killed in three?separate?weather related incidents in Rathota today, the police media unit said. The police said that this morning two children aged 10 and 7 were killed following a landslide. The children and their mother were in?the?house when the landslide?occurred. Separately, also in Rathota, a 50 year old woman died after she was buried by sand. Meanwhile this evening a tree fell on a van in Rathota killing 3 people, the police said.
