Deputy Minister says MR’s portraits hang in Chinese companies

A Government Deputy Minister today claimed that portraits of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa can be seen hanging in Chinese companies in China.

Deputy Minister Ranjan Ramanayake said that during a visit to China he saw?Rajapaksa’s?portrait hanging in the office of a leading Chinese company.

He says this shows the Chinese have a special place in their hearts for?Mahinda Rajapaksa as?Rajapaksa has “sold” Sri Lanka to China.

The Mahinda Rajapaksa led Government had signed several agreements with China including deals on highways, a port, airport, port city and other projects. (Colombo Gazette)
