More Lankan refugees registered

Over 300 birth certificates were issued this week for children born to Sri Lankan parents living in refugee camps in Tamil Nadu, the Sri Lankan Deputy High Commission in Chennai said today. The Deputy High Commission said that more than 5,000 Sri Lankan birth and citizenship certificates have been issued over the last four years for Sri Lankan children who were born in Tamil Nadu and living in the refugee camps in Tamil Nadu.
