S. Korea to sign deal with Sri Lanka on new town development

South Korea’s Government said Tuesday that it plans to sign an initial deal with Sri Lanka on the development of the Sri Lankan capital of Colombo and adjacent areas, the?Yonhap news agency reported. He was questioned on Rs. 200 million allocated to former Minister Keheliya Rambukwella as expenses for?medical treatment through the Presidential Secretariat when Mahinda Rajapaksa was President. Basil’s former secretary and another official arrested

Willie Gamage, a?former secretary of former Economic Affairs Minister Basil Rajapaksa and?another former Government official were arrested today by the police Financial Crimes Investigations Division (FCID). They were arrested in relation to a land deal in Matara which also involved?former Economic Affairs Minister Basil Rajapaksa. Basil Rajapaksa was arrested recently over the land issue but was later released on bail. (Colombo Gazette)
