HRC to hold inquiry on Kandy violence from 9 ? 12 May

The Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka will hold an inquiry from 9 ? 12 May, 2018 in Kandy on the violent incidents based on religious hatred that took place in Kandy District in March 2018.

The Chairperson and Commissioners will conduct the inquiry.

Prior to the said inquiry, the Commission called for written submissions and evidence from the public regarding the incidents. (Colombo Gazette)

Three Russian warships, including an anti-submarine ship, have arrived in Sri Lanka.
