The former Minister was remanded yesterday after he failed to prove that his passport was with the Colombo High Court over another case.
However the former Minister submitted the relevant documents today and was granted bail.
Aluthgamage was arrested yesterday after he appeared before the Police Financial Crimes Investigations Division (FCID) to make a statement over the allegations against him.
