Fire breaks out at Kurunegala Teaching Hospital

A fire broke out in the pharmaceutical storage facility of the Kurunegala Teaching Hospital around 11.15 a.m. today. The Police said Officers from the Kurunegala Police Station and the Kurunegala Fire Brigade are attempting to douse the flames. The cause for the fire is yet to be ascertained, while the Kurunegala Police have commenced investigations into the incident, they added. (Colombo Gazette)

Three more patients test positive for virus in Sri Lanka

The total number of patients confirmed to have contracted the coronavirus in Sri Lanka stands at 162. Director of Health Services Dr. Anil Jasighe said that 3 more patients infected with the virus were detected as of 05.00 p.m. today. Special service to resolve electrical and plumbing issues during curfew
