Party leaders decide not to use electronic vote for PM no-confidence

Party leaders have decided not to use the electronic voting system for the no-confidence vote on Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe next week.

The debate and no-confidence vote is scheduled to be taken on April 4 in Parliament.

The no-confidence motion submitted by the joint opposition has 55 signatures.

Some Sri Lanka Freedom Party and United National Party members are expected to support the no-confidence motion. (Colombo Gazette)
