Yohan makes waves in the fashion industry

Yohan Rowel has made waves in the fashion industry despite making his debut just over a year ago.

A product of the “Walk with Brian Kerkoven” modeling school, Yohan Rowel has worked hard and is now reaping the benefits.

An old boy of St. Peter’s College, the 26 year old played soccer, rugby and was also involved in swimming and athletics for his school.

On completing his Advanced Levels Yohan followed CIMA before entering university. While following CIMA, Yohan felt that marketing and branding was a field which he would like to step into and so he, completed his Bachelors in Business Administration.

Yohan is now employed as a Brand Assistant at private company in Colombo. Later this year he plans to complete his MBA to move forward in the field of marketing.

Yohan says he also wants to move go ahead in the fashion industry and possibly even one day appear in a few movies both locally and overseas.

The young man appears on several hoardings and branding material and most recently he took part in the LICC 2018 fashion show as well as The Wedding Show and other fashion shows.

He competed at the Mister Asian International 2018, which was held recently in Thailand where he was placed the 4th Runner up.

The Sri Lankan National Costume, created by Hiran Wijesekera for Yohan won the second place at the competition.

Yohan says he is happy to say he has worked with Hameedia, Dillly and Carlo, MAS, Volsquare and Kapruka.

His hobbies include reading, traveling , working out in the gym, hanging out with friends and trying out different types of food.

At the moment Yohan is single, so all you ladies out there could take a shot at him.

His message to young and upcoming models is “Do not just go with the flow. Just do what you love and love what you do”.
