The Crimes unit Officer in Charge (OIC) of the Seeduwa Police, who was arrested by the Bribery Commission yesterday over allegations he accepted a bribe, has been remanded till March 28.
The OIC was arrested while in the process of accepting a bribe of Rs 25,000, the Bribery Commission said.
According to the Bribery Commission, the OIC had also accepted a bottle of wine as a bribe. (Colombo Gazette)
