Holi festival on the Beach 2018 at the Mount Lavinia Hotel

The Holi festival was celebrated on the Beach of the Mount Lavinia Hotel on March 10, 2018. Holi, a festive day filled with color, is popular in India and marks the end of winter and the abundance of the upcoming spring harvest season.

Participants spent the day smearing colored powder all over each other?s faces and having a blast, and of course dancing under water sprinklers.

The event was held at the Mount Lavinia Hotel in association with Colind (Colombo Indian Expat Community).
