Ravi accuses some National List MPs of destroying UNP

United National Party (UNP) Assistant Leader and former Minister Ravi Karunanayake today accused some National List Parliamentarians in the UNP of destroying the party.

Karunanayake said that those who worked hard for the UNP have now been forgotten.

He said that UNP backbenchers have also done a lot for the party and that must be kept in mind.

Karunanayake said that there is a push for radical change in the UNP. He said the changes expected must take place.

The former Minister also said that UNP party supporters must be protected and their needs looked into.

Karunanayake was speaking to reporters after attending an event in Modara today. (Colombo Gazette)
