Maithripala says not decided on contesting again for President

President Maithripala Sirisena says that he has not yet decided if he will contest for President at the next Presidential Elections.
Speaking to media heads today, the President said that he intends to continue his political career be it as President or otherwise.
However he says no decision has been taken by him if he will contest for President again.
President Maithripala Sirisena was informed by the Supreme Court this month that his term is limited to only five years.
The Supreme Court had communicated this to the President after the President had sough the advise of the court.
A five judge bench had been appointed by the Supreme Court to decide on President Maithripala Sirisena?s term in office.
The five judge bench of the Supreme Court later held an open court hearing to determine the number of years the President can hold office. (Colombo Gazette)
