Bond commission and PRECIFAC reports tabled in Parliament

The reports of the Presidential Commission which investigated the treasury bond scam and the Commission of Inquiry appointed to investigate into serious acts of fraud and corruption, were tabled in Parliament today.

The Reports of the Presidential Commission of Inquiry to investigate and inquire into the Issuance of Treasury Bonds by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka and the Presidential Commission of Inquiry to investigate and inquire into Serious Acts of Fraud, Corruption and Abuse of Power, State Resources and Privileges (PRECIFAC) were handed over to the Secretary General of Parliament on the 17th of January 2018. Mother and daughter stabbed to death in Mahiyanganaya

A mother and her daughter were stabbed to death in?Mahiyanganaya last night, the Police media unit said today. The Police said that the mother was 59 years old and daughter 40 years old.
