Government to establish truth commission

The Government today informed the UN Human Rights Council that Sri Lanka will establish a truth commission and an office on missing persons. EU to promote accountability in Sri Lanka

The European Union (EU) says it will continue to promote reconciliation and accountability in Sri Lanka. Peter S?rensen, Head of the EU Delegation to the UN in Geneva made the announcement during the 30th session of the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva today.
