The Government insisted it will not agree to demands to close the SAITM private campus in Malabe. Sri Lankan cyclist killed in Milan hit and run incident

A?Sri Lankan cyclist has been killed in Milan in a hit and run incident, the Italian media reported. Rasarantam Saruanathan, a 39 year old from Sri Lanka, was killed after being hit by a vehicle and dragged several meters on the road. Six of 42 boats released by Sri Lanka taken back to Tamil Nadu

Six of the 42 boats belonging to fishermen from Tamil Nadu, which were seized and subsequently released by the Sri Lankan Navy, have been taken back to Tamil Nadu, the New Indian Express reported.
