Warnapala takes over as UPFA General Secretary

Professor Vishwa Warnapala took over today?as the General Secretary of the United People?s Freedom Alliance (UPFA). Warnapala, who was earlier the acting General Secretary, replaced Susil Premajayantha who had resigned from the post earlier. Zeid expected in Sri Lanka before Geneva session

The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Zeid Ra?ad Al Hussein, is expected to visit Sri Lanka ahead of the September session of the UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC).
